School Devices Program

Empowering Learning Through Technology

At our school, we believe that technology plays a crucial role in enhancing the educational experience. Our School Devices Program is designed to facilitate the co-creation of knowledge and promote personalised learning opportunities. By leveraging innovative tools, both students and teachers can access new information, engage with experts beyond our campus, and collaborate with parents and the wider community.

We have made significant investments in our network across both the Derrimut and Tarneit campuses, equipping our classrooms with the latest hardware, software, interactive panels, and digital teaching tools to support the new Victorian Curriculum model. Our diverse range of devices aligns seamlessly with our curriculum, allowing students to collaborate and engage in digital learning and media streaming across both campuses.

The Information Resource Centre (IRC) serves as the heart of Baden Powell, functioning as a central hub for communication and resources. Both campuses feature an extensive catalog of materials, including books, e-books, cameras, video production equipment, drones, iPads, and computer for borrowing. Our professional-grade media equipment and comprehensive wireless access points ensure that every learning space is equipped for modern educational needs.

To support your child's transition to senior education, Baden Powell College has partnered with CentreComm Technologies, offering parents an affordable option for student notebooks. We encourage all families to participate in our School Devices Program, as it is essential for enhancing your student’s skills and preparing them for future academic success.  Please note that we support Windows devices that are either Home or Pro editions. We do not support Windows RT, Windows 10 S Mode, Windows 11 S Mode, or Chromebooks. All students will receive a fully licensed version of Office 365 Software to aid in their studies.
